Marc Streit is the founder of zürich moves! festival for contemporary arts practice in performing arts –www.zurichmoves.com. He understands himself as a host, facilitator, artistic advisor and organizer in the field of contemporary performance.

 

Statement

 

I am interested in multi-faceted and time-based experiences, which engage and challenge the embodied presence and abstraction of the body. I see my practice as an intersection between art and life. The parameters in theater context have changed abruptly due to COVID_19. Artists are finding alternatives to maintain visibility and use new channels for the diffusion of their projects. Trying things out anew, taking risks and creating alternative platforms has become inevitable. Therefore, I am thrilled to be part of EEQGP upon the invitation of Rudi van der Merwe.
