Malika Fankha works internationally as a choreographer, performer and DJ. Using multiple narratives with both body and voice she spectrums the uncanny realms of online narcissism and post-human fantasies, while at the same time declaring everything to be within the textual, visual and emotive space of poetry.

MELF

 

In a collage of dark and euphoric songs, MELF, an otherworldly elf trapped in the body of a cyborg, tells stories about a constant craving for connection between species, spheres and galaxies. Disguised voices reach out to each other and then coalesce to form an abundantly glittering but intimate celebration of everyday drama and tantric tintinnabulations.
